The POWERTEC Taper / Straight Line Jig is a multi-functional woodworking tool designed to make quick, easy, and high-precision tapered cuts. This jig features everything you need to safely cut long, angled tapers and straight edges along your board and workpiece. It fits securely in any standard 3/8" x 3/4" miter slot and boasts an ergonomic handle for seamless push-action performance throughout the cutting process.
The jig assembly includes a 32" x 7-7/8" 1/2" MDF base with a melamine coating on both sides, an adjustable fence measuring 2-1/2" wide x 1-1/32" thick by 32" long with a pre-assembled T-track and stop plate, and a 3/4" x 3/8" x 36" aluminum miter bar. Additionally, the package contains a 4" long tapered knob, two 5-1/2" long hold-down clamps, four 5-star knobs, two self-adhesive tape measures, three 1-1/2" x 7" abrasive grip strips, four 5/16-18 x 2-1/2" T-bolts, one 5/16-18 x 1" flat head screw, three 1/4"-20 x 3/4" screws, five 5/16" washers, nine nylon adjustment screws, and a mini screwdriver.
